Issue with text area box exceeding boundaries?Asked by corazoninc on December 06, 2013 at 10:48 AM
Recently I've run into an issue where text area boxes (multi-line paragraph) aren't rendering properly in Firefox and IE, but they do in Chrome. It's exceeding the page container. The issue occurs in both the Form Builder and where the form is embedded itself. All three of my browsers are up-to-date and are the most recent versions of each. Did something recently change?

I am using Firefox 25.0.1 but did not see the same problem on your resume/CV form. Maybe it is specific to Windows. I am using OS X.
Does this happen when you embed the form into a page? If so, can you provide the URL of the page?
We will investigate this problem and get back to you.
Yes, I'm running Windows 7. Here's the link for one of the forms:
I know what you mean. For a while Bandcamp.com wouldn't work for me on Windows, regardless of browser, but it would work fine on OS X. Like I said, I would get the issue everywhere - so when I was on jotform.com using the Form Builder, going to the JotForm hosting link of the form, and when I was on my website where it was embedded.
By the way, here is the link to the jotform hosted version.
I'll also mention that our site is built on Bootstrap Twitter version 2. And here's what I see in the Form Builder for Firefox 25.0.1 on Windows 7.
Thank you for the additional information. I have checked your webpage using Firefox 25.0.1 on Windows 7 and I have no issues with it having a long textarea width.
I also tested this on IE8 and IE9. It seems to be fixed now.
Please clear your browser's caches and retry again. Please let us know if this issue persists.
I just viewed your site on FF, Chrome, and IE. The text area box appears roughly the same across them. Please let us know if you experience further issues.
