Donation forms with variable amounts, but no sales taxAsked by lunarplaytime on December 08, 2013 at 11:52 AM
This is the form how I have it now: http://form.jotform.us/form/21766564366160. It works exactly how I need it to but when it gets to paypal they are charged sales tax, which is not what should happen.
I set up another form within a form to handle the situation. Here it is: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/33375334336959. But in this case, the information from the first form, ie. which fund they donate to, is not included on the paypal report, which is vital information.
Is there some field that totals items that are not within a product field associated with money? So that they have all those choices and it is totaled and then they can enter that total into a donation field to submit, thereby including all data.
I'm really just putting on my thinking cap trying to figure out the workaround for this.
Unfortunately, multiple items on donation is not currently possible. And utilizing the normal product option will yield sales tax, that is how the payment tool currently functions.
It does apper that the best way to tackle this is to use multiple forms linked to your site and allow the user to select the one they would like to donate to.
