We're working on a mobile app with forms. A requirement we have is the form has to be available in offline mode. We have sales staff that will be in remote areas with no Internet connection. They will need to be able to fill the form out, we'll need to save the data to the local iPad, then send the data after the iPad is on a Wi-Fi. Can we do this using JotForm?

Hello. Thanks for contacting us. Unfortunately, is not designed for offline use or does not have offline functionality yet. The forms created by JotForm must communicate with JotForm servers to send the form submission.
However, a simple workaround for mobile use is to use an app that can create a spreadsheet in CSV or XLS format. You can put your data there for offline use. Then you will be using our Import Data App to import the CSV or XLS file into specific form that you precreated. Just make sure that the column labels matches what JotForm uses for CSV labels.
To know which labels are used, select your form and go to its Submissions Page.
Then download a backup of your form submissions in Excel or CSV format from the Submissions Page and you will see what JotForm uses for Column Labels on this specific form and delete all existing data and start using it on any mobile spreadsheet app.
Once, they have an internet coverage they can now use the Import Data App.
This is probably the easiest way to compensate for offline usage. There are other workarounds but needs a lot more work. If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you
