Hi there,

The Card forms and Classic forms do not have exactly the same features, and they are programmed to function in a bit different ways.

In the Classic forms, instead of disabling the submit button, you can similarly hide the button with conditional logic. This will make the button unavailable for users.

Yes. I found that alternate already. Hiding the button is potentially more annoying to users. This feature would allow me to signal which fields have been incorrectly entered. Feature request?

An example of where this is useful.

Dynamic Dropdown: Set first answer in list to "Select From List". This becomes a valid answer for "required", so check always passes. "Select From List" is desirable for form consistency (instead of using . for a blank box) because other items on the form also use Dynamic Dropdowns and are optional.

I inspected your forms and you added "Select From List" as an option. Even if it is possible to disable the submit button with conditional logic it would not trigger any error because the option was actually selected.

Maybe you can nest (indent) other options.

Or you can add a custom warning message using a text field and show above the submit button when the "Select From List" option is selected.

I think you missed the point. This feature has the power to do things that would simply not require me to use hidden fields or additional logic. I'm requesting that JotForm consider adding the feature to regular forms.
