I can't seem to be able to do it in my 2 forms. Does this affect the process if you have 2 pages?

    Hi there,

If I understood correctly, you are trying to pass data from one form to another? Transferring data does not get affected if there are multiple form pages.

You can give us the form URLs and the fields that you are trying to prepopulate here so we can check it for you.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Thanks

Correct, I would like to pass data from Form 1 to Form 2. I can't seem to make it pass to my second form.

Form 1: https://form.jotform.com/211114579436354 (I have several of those and am currently testing the process on this one)

    Form 2: https://form.jotform.com/AsiaSociety/campaign-test

    Hello there,
    Thank you for contacting us.

To pass data from a form to another form, please check this guide:
Please note that you need to use identical fields.

    Best regards.

May I know what you mean by identical fields? I have followed the steps from this guide and thus my first email. It doesn't seem to pass the data over to form 2. I am not sure what i am doing wrongly.

    Hello there,
Apologize if what I wrote before sounded confusing.

In order to make things simpler, I recommend checking this
    https://eu.jotform.com/integrations/field-prepopulator
With a free Field Prepopulator, you can encourage users to complete your forms and more quickly get the information you need. This does automatically what it's written in the guide i sent you in the last message.

    Hope it helps.

    Best regards.

Ok, so I managed to use that field-prepopulator (i found it in one of the comments below).

It seems to work until the email address, which is incomplete. Any reason why?

    Hello,

I have cloned your forms and tried to replicate your issue.

However, I am not able to replicate your issue and it seems okay on my side.

Please, allow us to test your forms directly to investigate the problem further.

    Hi there,

There is a condition in your form that was causing the issue. I've disabled it now and the email address field is populating correctly.

    Here is the disabled condition.

Please try your form now and let us know if you need further assistance. You may delete all the test submissions you may have received.

    Thanks

Thank you, this seems to work. however, the condition kind of was the point, so that we can convert non-members into members. Is there a solution for that?

    Hi there,

You can enable the condition again. However, the pre-populated URL you are using needs to be fixed.

    https://form.jotform.com/AsiaSociety/campaign-test?fullName3[first]={yourFull:first}&fullName3[last]={yourFull:last}&yourEmail={yourEmail:input_37}

You can remove the "input_37" from the above link. Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thanks
