Form cutoff when errors

    If I submit my form without filling out the required fields, the form gets cutoff at the bottom due to the error lines stretching the height of the form.

    I am using iframe code and I've also tried increasing the height of iframe and that didn't work. I also tried changing the wordpress theme and that did not fix the problem.

    Hi,

    Please re-embed the form using the iframe code only without it's supporting script. Or you can use the following iframe embed code.

    <iframe allowtransparency="true" src="//form.jotform.co/form/33446104229853?wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" style="width: 100%; height: 1206px; border: none;" scrolling="no"></iframe>

    Take note that iframe has a fixed height so it doesn't automatically adjust your page when the form length increases unlike when you use the default script embed code.

    Thanks!

    Thanks. That works, but it adds the necessary space at the bottom which isn't ideal.

    It would be nice if the script worked the way it is supposed to and added the space needed when there are errors to show. Why is that not working?

    It is good to know the iframe code suggested by my colleague worked at this time. It is possible that some script in your webpage was not allowing the the form script to work correctly and that could be the reason why it was not auto resizing your form.

    Please inform us if you need further assistance with this.

    Thanks

    I tried it on the standard Twenty Twelve Wordpress theme also and had the same problem. So I doubt it's anything to do with the theme unless they both are creating the same problem. In that case, I'm sure the same problem would be present in many themes.

    @cyranose,

    Will setting the scrolling="no" to scrolling="auto" works for you? The effect of this is that the iframe part which is your form will now be scrollable instead of the form being cutoff. Like what my colleague Eliezer mention that some script in your webpage might be conflicting the code when embedding the iframe with <script> included, as I know that Jotform is already optimize to auto resize when the frame changes the <script> code is the one giving that effect so stripping the <script> part will just give you a fixed height.
