I found the answer myself in http://www.jotform.com/myaccount/usage
Altough it may sound like a naive question, nowhere in the big sale promotion do I find "monthly" or anything to clarify the fact that the annual cost involves a monthly limit.

Hello we apologize for that confusion. Let me clarify that for you. The submissions levels are 100 monthly for free accounts, 10 monthly for both SSL and Payment submissions.
If you use the form on HTTPS://secure.jotformpro.com link, or use the "secure form" you will consume your SSL submission.
If you have Payment Integrations or Payment fields it will consume your 10 Payment Submissions.
All submissions will reset back to every 1st day of each month so that you will be allowed to submit more.
What happens when you consume any of the submission counters? The answer is, your forms will be disabled temporarily until the next reset usually on the 1st day of each month.
