How Do I Integrate PayPal With My Form?

Asked by Luca32435 on December 20, 2013 at 11:58 PM

What I mean by that is...

When I add the Payment Tools > PayPal tool into the form, and they select their product, can they pay on the form? If so, how do they input their PayPal email? I tested this and nothing of that sort came up.

Oh my I am dearly sorry. I retried it and it worked, and when I clicked submit it took me to the payment page.

    Just one question,

I have a thank you message with important details on there. How can I get that to come up aswell as the PayPal payment page?

    Hi Lucas,

The user will be redirected to the Thank You page after the payment is completed on PayPal.

You can also create an autoresponder message with the important details you mentioned so users will be able to received a message via email after a payment is completed.

What if the Thank you page is just a regular pop up Thank you message? Because that is what I have.

Hello, Luca32435.  To give you an idea on how the process works with PayPal:

First, the user fills up the form.  Next, he is redirected to PayPal to continue with the payment process. Once the payment is complete, he will be redirected back to your form landing on the Thank you page set.

If I'm not mistaken, if your thank you page shows a pop-up after visiting the page, then it's also possible that it will show a pop-up.  But I'm not very certain of this since I have not yet seen your form and the desired thank-you page that is set.

For us to be able to help you further, you can share with us the link to your thank you page so we can have some tests as well.  Or if you're well versed with PayPal developer feature, you can make a sandbox account and do some tests in PayPal Sandbox mode of your form to make payment simulations:

Please do let us know if you have further questions or concerns.
