I have problems with setting target="_blank" attribute inside HTML Form ElementAsked by dusticelli on December 21, 2013 at 12:04 PM
first of all I want to let you know, that jotform is fantastic and very useful for me. Saves me lots of time, and gives professionell forms output.
Unfortunatly I found only 1 simple problem:
I have a created a form (http://www.mr-fuss.com/haendleranmeldung/) which works realy good. Only setting the part
Mr. Fuss Reseller Programm | Mr. Fuss EasyDealer
in the first HTML Form element as Hyperlinks such as
<a target="_blank" href="http://reseller.mr-fuss.com" rel="nofollow" taregt="_blank">Mr. Fuss Reseller Programm</a>
<a target="_blank" href="http://easydealer.mr-fuss.com" rel="nofollow" taregt="_blank">Mr. Fuss EasyDealer Programm</a>
always looess the target-attribute. When I change it In the Editor (as well directly in the html code) after klicking the "save" button, target-attribute is lost.
Maybe you can have a look at it..
We are sorry for that inconvenience but upon testing this on my end I'm unable to reproduce the problem. Please see this video that I made I did put your link in the HTML section and the target attribute works fine.
Kindly try clearing your browsers cache and if this does not work on your end we can help you get this done just let us know where to put that section in your form.
thank you for your help. You did use another way, to make the changes. With
your way I could apply the changes to my form. Direct editing in the html
editor did cause the problem, look at my screenshots:

my problem is solved. It was just to inform you that obviosly the editor inside the form part was causing the problem. Editing by using the top menu icon did apply changes to the form. I just thought maybe this information could be useful for debug problems with the editor.

Thank you for letting us know I think this has already been fixed by our developers I just tested it now and the target _blank attribute works fine using the 2 methods of embedding an HTML code.
