This is something I've always done on my Jotforms to make the text flow better. Now it seems something has changed and I can longer add a break tag in the text to go onto the next line as they have no effect.
Anyone know why this would have changed?

That's maybe due to the filtration imposed on the field labels to prevent any malicious codes. However, I think <br> tag is still useful so let me address your concern to our developers so they can review this.
We will let yo know here once the said function is reversed. Thanks!

For the meantime, you can use CSS Inject feature to limit your label display and to bring down others to a new line. http://www.jotform.com/help/117-How-to-Inject-Custom-CSS-Codes
If you need further assistance with this, let us know here. Thanks!

We decided to get rid of any tags on labels. But just now, we changed how this works.
We now allowed some tags for a better and wide customization of label text.
Please confim if this work from you end, otherwise report it back.

Thanks for the quick and helpful responses. I can confirm that
tags now work in the label text (thanks for addressing that) but now they are no longer working in Sub Label text. Would it be possible to also change this back as I need to use a
tag when the sub label is too long to fit on one line - as my forms are quite narrow, this happens quite often.

Could you please confirm that <br> tags are working for you in Sub labels? I tested it and it is working fine from my side:
Please inform us if you need further assistance.

Hi Eliezer, I've just checked and it's still not working. I also created a new form as a test and it's the same.
The author information sub label is supposed to have a < br > in it but it's still all on one line and breaks the layout.
Thanks in advance,

Okay, reopening this ticket since its still related to <br> things. Will update you on this thread once we fixed the issue.
Thanks for taking time to test. we appreciate it.

Cesar, thanks but that's the field label you've added the <br> to (which was the orignal problem but that was already fixed). I'm now talking about the sub label that is so long it's breaking the layout - the <br> tags don't work there.
- JotForm SupportEltonCrisAnswered on January 09, 2014 at 05:03 PM
Thanks. I was also able to reproduce the problem on sub labels. You will be informed here once this is rectified.
- JotForm SupportkennethAnswered on January 09, 2014 at 08:27 PM
on sublabels that you can double click to edit were working fine for example fullname or address. But on sublabels that you can only edit on the toolbar I was able to replicate the issue.
Can you confirm if you encounter the same thing? Have you tried editing the sublabels that you can double click as I mentioned above and to the one for toolbar only?
- lbfAnswered on January 11, 2014 at 09:32 AM
That's correct Kenneth, that's the problem I'm having.

Any news on this issue? The <br> tags are still not working in the sub labels and it's really important for my layout.

@lbf. I tested this again and I can still replicate the issue of not accepting <br> tags from sublabels that can be edited from the toolbar. I think this is still in progress by our developers. Nevertheless, rest assured that we will update you here if this issue is fixed. Thank you

Hi i would like to know why isn't the "
" tag working when i tried to type it directly into either the questions and the options? I have translated my option answer to 3 language therefore i will have to separate each question into a new line but unfortunately i have only been met with failure to do so. It shows in the form builder but not in the actual form.
I hope there will be other alternatives as it is pretty important for me to be able to separate them into a new lines.
