How to setup subscription with the ability to input own amount?

I need to be able to list subscriptions but also have an option for them to enter their own value. Is this possible?

Unfortunately, no. That is not possible with our current payment tools setup. You may consider creating two forms, one for the subscription and one for the donation type so they can manually type any amount.

thank you for your quick response! I could do two forms although I am really looking to have an automatic recurring donation of an amount requested by the donator. hmm..

That sounds like a recurring subscription with the ability to choose the amount as opposed to show fixed amounts

I have set up a form with specific donations recurring at my stated intervals yet I would like the donator to have the ability to donate the amount they want to donate, and the interval they want with monthly or every other month or annually, and for the number of times that they want. ie. $22.50. every 3 months, 12 times.  Similar to the input data required for authorize.net ARB subscritpion. how often the customer should be billed. You must select a Subscription Interval by either selecting a month based interval from the drop-down OR entering an interval based on a set number of days. and Enter a Start Date to establish when the subscription begins and enter either an End Date OR indicate the total number of billing occurrences in Ends After to establish when the subscription expires.

I've added your comments on regards to letting donators to choose the interval in days or months

I second the call for this functionality. We're a charity and we'd like to give people the option of either:

a) a one-time gift (choose some options, or enter your own amount)

b) recurring monthly gift (choose some options, or enter your own amount)

And we'd like to offer these on the same form. See Care's donate page: http://www.care.org/donate

Right now, the closest thing to a workaround I can see on Stripe is to set up two separate donation forms (one for "products" and another for "subscriptions") and provide a link on each that toggles back to the other. And unfortunately, on the recurring monthly donation page, the user can ONLY choose from a list, not enter the amount he chooses. 

Am I reading this correctly?

I also would really like to see this. I serve many churhces and they all need this badly.

Ideal scenario:

Field 1: Amount (enter it manually)

Field 2: Select (one time, recurring monthly, recurring weekly, etc.)

Field 3+: Credit Card info

----------------

If the above insn't an option, then at least

Field 1: Enter Amount manually
(recurring monthly already set)

Field 2+: Credit Card info

The scenario is basically the same as in this ticket. If our developers see there is an increasing number of people requesting this (open separate threads for this) , then they might give it a better priority.
