I have installed and tested our Voice Recorder Widget.
I increased the vertical spacing to 180 - to allow the Drop Down box for Flash access approval.
However, when I test it to send me the Sound File. I get nothing. How does this Sound File get sent? Should it not be an attachment to the email notice?

The Voice Recording Widget sends out a lin to where the file is stored as opposed of adding an attachment to the email sent. Kindly make sure to playback the file you have recoded using the play button, to make sure the tool has indeeed performed a recording.
Once you get the Email Alert ot the submission, you should get a link uch as this in it.:
As you can see its a link to a wav file, which referrs to an audio file.
Kindly let us know if you need further assistance. Thank you.
You can also try my example form for further testing.
It will send you an auto response with the link.

I must be doing something wrong when composing the email layout for the Email Alerts. All it shows is the text I have entered saying YOU CAN SPEAK YOUR QUESTION. No link to a wav file.

Upon checking your form, I found that you have changed the notification email template and deleted the question "You Can SPEAK Your Message Here" that is the reason why you do not see that in your submission emails.
I have added one more email alert "Test Notification for Voice Recorder Widget" in your form which should send the audio link to the recorded voice. Please test your form once again and let me know if you are now able to see the audio link. You need to also ensure that audio is actually recorded. The submission email of your form should display the link like this:
Hope this helps.
