Payment integration. Which one is best for Paypal and credit card payments at the same time?

    Hello,

We are a new customer and just updated from the free version to a yearly paid subscription.

When we paid, we were given the option of using any credit card or PayPal...we'd like to have both options on our forms that require payment...We currently have payPal Standard (free). Will that work? Or do we need to upgrade to a higher level of PayPal and if so which one? Or is there another credit card processing company you'd recommend?

    Thanks,

    Tom & Stephen

Thanks for contacting us. Let me explain that in detail:

When you only have Paypal Standard(free) account, you may only use the "Paypal" Integration

This only accepts normal direct Paypal payments using the user's Paypal address. This does not accept credit card payments as this uses only the Website Payments Standard of Paypal. You should use "Paypal Pro" integration to accept credit cards like the one below:

This uses the Website Payments Pro of Paypal. This will require you to have a Paypal Premier account or Paypal Business account so it is best to upgrade your Paypal Standard account to start accepting Credit Card Payments.

One more thing that you should know that Credit Card Payments are only allowed for your users who have a credit card that are issued on US, UK and Canada only. This is imposed by Paypal policy. For more info please see their Product Matrix:

You may also use our other Payment Integrations such as Authorize.net and Stripe Payment Integrations that accepts credit cards

However, you can not use 2 Payment Integration types at the same time on one form so you can not use the Paypal payment if should you choose to use Stripe or Authorize.net. If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you

PayPal Advanced is the newest type of PayPal integration, and this type is not yet integrated with our system. I am going to send a feature request about the PayPal Advanced integration. However, we will not be able to provide any ETA for when it will be implemented. We will let you know if we have any updates.
