I need an easy on the eyes method for checking incoming items (parts and pieces) that includes price each. This data needs to populate an inventory data base (I don't have one outside of Excel) and then
When the final product is built I need to easily enter the components to get a price, a multiplier, and generate a unique product inventory number.
These products go to shows and displays where they are sold, so I need an easy "Sales" form to record item #, price, date.
My family makes "jewelry items" composed of many different beads, gems, silver "gee-ghas", fasteners, bindings, and hooks.
Thses items come in quantity each by stone type, size, quality, and color. Each is unique and is cost controlled.
receiving is tedious (in Excel)
Final pricing is very tedious (in Excel)
and sales control is almost unheard of. Can I make interacting forms to allow each aspect of this business and NOT use Excel?

You can easily do a form that includes the items with quantity, color and other options. That's an easy part.

However, all of the submitted orders would be sent to a submissions page into your JotForm account, and these can only be downloaded in Excel, CSV or PDF format (which you find tedious)
However, to keep them on a inventory database that would be updated, would imply a more ellaborated system.An inventory system, that would require hiring a programmer.
At any rate, let us know if you need assistance on how to make the form. Explain in details items and options for it, and we can walk you throug it. Then you can hire someone to make your DB to send the data , if you do not wish to get this into Excel
