I am exploring the use of JotForm for a client that also uses Salesforce. They plan to use the JotForm feature where someone is completing and signing a PDF form with JotForm fields. After it's submitted they would like some field data passed into Salesforce, but they would also like a PDF copy of the completed form attached to the record in Salesforce in the "Files" related list. Is this possible with the integration?

Hi Otremba, thank you for reaching us.

You may use the Upload field so you can map the uploaded file to Salesforce using integration. The uploaded file links will be added to the SalesForce records.

Please check it out and let us know how it goes.

Thank you for following up. Can you clarify whether a link is simply added to a field in Salesforce (and the file only "lives" in JotForm), or if the actual PDF of the file copy can be added to the Files object in Salesforce?

    Hello there,

It seems that, to transfer PDF files to Salesforce you need to configure your Salesforce to accept attachments by email, as shown in this thread:

Otherwise, you can map the file upload fields on the form to SaleForce fields (text-based). The uploaded file links will be added to the new SalesForce record created.

I'd suggest you to contact directly SalesForce support and ask if they allow you to create a custom attachment field to receive files on your SalesForce account.
