That's basically it.
Here's an example. We have a form. We've received 1000 submissions. We've read 750 of them, but we'd really rather not delete them from JotForm just yet.
We would like to download an excel file of the 250 submissions we have not yet read, without taking the 750 already-read submissions with them, and without deleting them, either.
Any solution for this?

There is no predefined method to download unread submissions but there is a way to download an excel file of submitted entries in a chosen time frame.
By default, the submissions page shows entries for the whole lifetime of the form. You can change it by clicking the small settings icon in the right hand side of the submissions page:
Choose a time frame for the submissions. For example, if you download excel files weekly, you may choose to display only the submissions for the current week.
You can also choose a custom time frame. Just pick the date when you last checked and downloaded the submissions up to the date of the most recent unread submissions.
Click Download as Excel or CSV to have them downloaded on your computer.
