I need help with my form conditions

Asked by mewersmann on January 02, 2014 at 11:32 AM

    To whome it concerns,

I noticed that it is possible to create an If / Than Statement. However, when I was trying to list multiple tiers than it would only react to the first rule. I.E. If the answer was "0" than I didn't want it to show any of the tables. If it was "1" than I only wanted it to show table 1 but not table 2 or 3. If it was "2" than I only wanted it to show table 2 but not 1 or 3. If the answer was 3 then I only wanted it to show table 3 but not 1 or 2. In the example it only reacts to the if "0" then no tables would show and it ignores the rest of the rules. Is this a possible functionality within JOTFORM. Thanks for your help and feel free to call if it is easier to explain that way.

After cloning your form I found that there is only one Matrix table currently, so I was not able to create the conditions so that your form can work as you need.

We will be more than glad to help you to build the conditions needed, but it would require you add all the fields/tables that you need to hide/show. Please add all the fields and let us know when it is done and we will start to create the conditions according to your explanation.

Or our Matrix Dynamique widget would help you too. It will allow your form users to add more fields so that he/she can enter more information. You can take a look here: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/matrix_dynamique
