How can I hide empty fields on the TEXT / NON-HTML EMAIL Notification/AutoresponderAsked by gbodle1972 on January 02, 2014 at 02:05 PM
I am trying to create an email auto responsethat is in the TEXT formated instead of HTML. Is there a way to hide fields on the TEXT version of email auto responder if I do not modify the fields?
email html email hide empty fields hide fields create thanks
Please try activating "Hide Empty Fields" for your form by following the directions illustrated below:
Plain Text gives you an opportunity to create email notifications with customized markup that would style presentation of the email.
Does this help?
Please let us know how we can assist further.
I already had the "Hide Fields" checked and it does not seem to be working
for the text email I have 2 emails that I wish to go out. The one that is
the HTML format it works for. The one that is in text format it does not
and lists every single field whether it's filed out or not. The name of
the TEXT auto responder email I have is called "Franc Sup - Corp View"
Do note that this option will only work if the Email Notifier has not been edited in any way. Adding information to the Email Notifier will disable this feature.
I do see that the Text Auto Responder currently shows data like this:
When it should be shown as follows:
Kindly recreate the Email AutoResponder and do make sure it is left with it's default content to work properly. Thank you.
