Approval Workflow w/o logging in

Hi, I am trying out the new approval workflows and I have a HIPAA account. None of the fields on the form are marked as HIPAA, however, when a submission is sent for approval, when that user clicks "Approved," that user is asked to sign-in to their jotform account. How can I update the settings so that approvers do not need to log in?

Due to HIPAA compliance rules, the user will need to have their own Jotform account and needs to have HIPAA enabled for them to view the approval. This is same process as viewing/sharing the submissions that is why they are required to login and have their own HIPAA account.

My question isn't about viewing the approval, my question is about approving a submission. When someone fills out a jotform, an email is sent to a manager for approval with an approval button at the top. All the jotform tutorial videos and the webinar suggests that that the person clicking "approve" does not need to have a jotform account. How do I enable this?

    Thanks for your reply.

Even for Approval - HIPAA Users are required to log in due to security reasons. Approvals without HIPAA status are able to approve/deny without signing in.

Only about half the forms we create actually contain HIPAA information. Is there a way that I could be set up with a secondary account that does not contain any HIPAA restrictions?

    Hello, again.

Yes, you may create a second account without HIPAA compliance enabled.

You may log out from your main account:

Then, you can create a new account with credentials that are different from your main account.

Please, let us know if you need any further assistance.
