After making adjustments to fields, they move out of place in the results.

Asked by qbuster on January 04, 2014 at 10:27 AM

I have a live form that needed some adjustments to the fields (mostly spelling and fomratting adjustments).

The form itself looks fine but the position of the data has changed, the fields I changed now appear at the bottom of the results rather than the order they appear on the form itself. I am concerned that this wil cause problems when merging data.

The url of the form is: https://secure.jotformpro.com/form/40023449289961

Here are some examples extracted from emails that are sent each time another form is completed:

From the bottom of an email received early this morning (The data is where it should be expected.

    QUOTE

To which age group did the householder belong? 60-69

What was the householder's gender? Female

    Recorder's name DBC

    Recorder ID

    END QUOTE

And this is from the bottom of an email recived this afternoon after simple editing changes (No fields were moved, just edited - the form itself look normal)

    QUOTE

To which age group did the householder belong? 70+

What was the householder's gender? Female

    Recorder's name PW

    Hi,

The best way to fix this is to re-create your form notification email settings. Delete your existing notification by following this guide: How to Delete Notifications/Autoresponder then re-create the notification email by using this guide: Setting Up Email Notifications.

    Thanks
