I cannot access my form submissions due to the form being encrypted.

    Hi,

    You can set off the Encryption for the form in the Form Builder's Setting page.
    Please see our guide below on how to do this:
    Encrypted-forms-and-how-to-use-them

    You can find the instructions in the part How Can I Enable Form Encryption? and you can turn the encryption off the same way as turning it on.

    I have followed the instructions in How Can I Enable Form Encryption? Several times. Not working....I need to access my forms as I have clients.

    Hi,

    I have changed the form settings to set the encryption off on your forms.
    May I ask you to make a test submission on your form, to see if you can receive submissions without the encryption?

    Please note that new submissions will be saved without encryption, but the already existing, encrypted submissions cannot be un-encrypted.

    When the form was set to be encrypted, the system prompts with a window to download private keys.
    The private key is used for viewing the submissions.  Please note that without the key, no one will be able to decrypt the data if the private key is lost.

    If you are not sure where your key is, you can try looking for it on your computer. It is usually located in the Downloads folder, and named something like "jotform.key".

    I am trying to open an encrypted form that was submitted on June 2. I have my Jotform keys saved, upload them, and am unsuccessful in encrypting the data.

    I was able to get the data by using an old jotform key from 2017.
