    Hello,

I want to create a form for my Squarespace site where the user will:

    • input cost of something
    • the form generates a calculation of 0.8 percent of that amount which will be the cost of insurance
    • the user selects their payment method ideally one already saved to their customer account on my squareapce site.
    • the user then clicks "Pay"
    • the purchase of insurance will be then shown on their purchases on their customer profile on the Squarespace site.

Is this something I can do with Jotform? if so, please can you explain how?

    Many thanks,

    Pablo

    Hi Pablo,

You can create a Payment form that uses user-defined input as the payment amount, and then use a form calculation to calculate 0.8 percent of this.

First, insert an input field to your form where your user can enter the amount.
Then you can use the Form Calculation widget to calculate the percentage:
    How-to-perform-form-calculation-using-a-widget

Now that you have the percentage, you can forward the calculated amount to a payment processor, and let the user pay. To receive payments on the forms, you will need to use any of our payment processors:

As we do not have a Squarespace integration, showing the purchase in Squarespace customer profile will probably need some coding on your side. If you are not into coding yourself, you can for example look to hire a Squarespace specialized developer on freelance sites such as Upwork.
