Thank you for contacting us. I tested the Dynamic Matrix widget and it lets you add another new set of row even if the previous row is left blank. Is that what you are referring to?
As you can see from this test, I added a new row even if the previous row is blank, however it does not let me submit it unless the previous row(s) are filled in. This is how the Dynamic Matrix widget currently behaves in regards to being required.
Even if I left some part of the column as blank it still does not let the user submit just like in this scenario below:
Do you want somehow to prevent the user to add another new row until the current row is completed? Is that what you want to do? Currently, it does not do that. I may have to escalate ticket for this feature request if this is what your inquiry is about. Please feel free to correct me if I misunderstood your inquiry and let us know so that I can create this feature request on your behalf. Thank you
thanks for reeplying promtly, Yes, to prevent the user from adding another new row until the current row is completed.
if you can get this done it would be great.
Unfortunately that is how the dynamic matrix works as of the moment but we can forward this request to our developer team to have this added to feature list. We cannot give an exact ETA on this. We will let you know once this feature has been added.
