2 questions: why isn't form link clickable and how do I access photos uploaded by applicants?Asked by hphanpeterson on January 08, 2014 at 05:05 PM
I just sent myself a test survey via my own personal email account (I manually went into my email, and copied the link into a new email I addressed to myself), and embedded the link that was provided in the embed menu icon. I received the test email, however, I cannot click to open it up. The link itself leads me to the application form, but I have to copy and paste it into a new browser window.
Secondly, I completed the survey and uploaded a photo. I received the response notification immediately upon submitting my test survey, but the photo I uploaded was not sent to me. Do I have to go someplace to retrieve it?
First, you can access the uploaded files on your form submissions page. Just select the form in your my forms page then click submissions button above.
Second, uploaded file URLs are made clickable on emails, if this doesn't happen on your end, please make sure you are viewing the email as "HTML" format not "Text". I would also suggest to recreate your form notificationl to refresh all the field variables. To do that, simply delete your existing notification and create a new notification.
Hope this helps. Regards!
By the way, if you mean the form URL on email, make sure you've added a hyperlink on the form URL text. Hyperlink is on the formatting toolbar, FYI.
Thanks for this info, Elton. I will try those suggestions when I get back in front of the computer.
I appreciate the assistance.
