Hyperlink questionAsked by ipbr21054 on January 08, 2014 at 07:57 PM
In my form i have email address underlined.
When i receive a completed form its easy to click on the customers email address & copy the details.
Is it possible to achieve the same thing for non email ?
I mean i would like to select a field in my completed form & just copy as opposed to highlight all the text, right click then copy ?
I'm not too sure I understand fully what you are trying to achieve. This may also be due to the email client or email service you are using. Kindly check if this only happens with JotForm Email or with any email address on any email that you receive in your inbox. If possible provide the service you are using so that we may test further. Thank you.
How to upload and add screenshots to support forum?
I will explain a little better.
Looking at the photo example below when i put the mouse cursor over the paypal email answer " as shown by the red arrow " i see a hand,i can then right click & copy.
When i need to copy the chassis number answer " as shown by the blue arrow " i need to right click, select the text & copy.
Is there a way to be able to see the hand when i put the mouse cursor over the chassis number answer ?
I understand the answer is not .com etc but can this be like how i copy the paypal email answewr ?
The hand cursor will only appear for hyperlinks and if you make the Chassis Number a hyperlink that would attach some .com, .net etc. when copying it. That is how the browsers interprets it I guess right clicking the text and copying it would be the best solution as we have no control of how the browsers interprets each character or functions like hyperlink. If you notice most of the browser when hovered to a hyperlink you see a hand as far as I know this was set for browser to be standard same as other functions.
