We used a sub account to first generate/duplicate some forms and edit them before data collection. Now that the forms are final and had been launched, I went in the main account to modify that sub account accesses so that it would be limited to viewing submissions of one particular form.
Unfortunately, it seems like that sub account can still view and modify the forms that were duplicated through its particular access and the modifications I did in its authorizations seem not to be effective even if it clearly states in my control panel that the sub account only has "view" authorization for one form's submissions.
Main Account Control Panel View - Sub Account access:
Sub Account View - My Forms Page
Is there a way to change that sub account access or should I simply delete the user and create a new one with a different name?

I've fixed it for you. It seems that selecting the folder instead of the individual form is causing the issue to happen. I'm not sure if this is a bug but we'll check this further and report to our developers if necessary.

The problem persists... I currently have 6 forms divided between 2 folders and 2 sub accounts with View submission access (one for each folder). Here is what I am trying to do:
- Blue Folder - 5 forms - Sub Account #2 (View only)
- Green Folder - 1 form - Sub account #1 (View only)
The Sub Account # 1 called MERCH should only have access to View Submission for 1 form (the one in the green folder) like suggested in my first image above. Currently, it can access and modify 4 forms like you can see in the second image above (3 from the blue folder for which he should not have access).
The Sub Account #2 had been given access to View Submission for all the forms contained in the blue folder (the other 5 forms) and it works perfectly fine! The Edit Form button is not even available for that user and the form contained in the green folder can not be accessed by him which is exactly what I want.
For some reason I can't get that situation to work with sub account #1 in the green folder.

I already fixed it and I am sure that works fine. Kindly ask your sub user to clear browser(s) cache and cookies. This is what I see:
Sub Account #2:
Sub Account #1:
Instead of selecting the folder, choose each form individually. If you still can't make it to work, I would suggest re-adding the sub-users. I guess that should work.

Thanks for your help!
We tried connecting under Sub Account # 1 on Chrome, Firefox and Explorer, after clearing cache and cookies on all of them, then tried on a different computer and even on a mobile device through Cellular Data connection (not local wifi), but we can still see 4 forms and the Edit Form button in the list in all cases. I am really surprised that you don't see the same screen on your side.
I will therefor try to re-add the user as suggested and keep you posted!

I tried re-adding the Sub-user and not only it didn't work and my Sub Account #1 still have access to the 4 forms, but the Users page in my control panel started showing up a bug where everytime I try to modify the access of my sub account # 2 it adds new lines to the current ones:
While trying to fix the thing I also mistakenly added the form contained in the green folder to my sub account # 2 and I can't remove it now. This is causing me major problems since the data is confidential and both users can now see the data of the other one as we speak. I also tried to re-add sub account # 2 to see if it would repair the bug but it didn't. I temporarily changed the password of my sub account # 2 to avoid confidential data leak.
Please help me on this issue, it seems to be getting worse and worse.

Yeah, I checked and noticed that. Now, I am able to see the issue on the first sub-user. I'm not sure, seems like it's not reflecting the changes.
This issue is now forwarded to Level 2 Support/Developers. Please stay tune for updates. We will let you know here if there are changes.

Ok thanks for your help, we are awaiting your reply!

BTW, would it be a possible solution to delete my two sub accounts from your side and then for me to try and send those email addresses a new invite to re-create completely the accounts with the same user names?
I noticed when deleting the sub-users yesterday that they could still login (not permanently deleted) and were only losing access to my shared forms. When selecting "Create New Sub User" from main account it would simply give them back the access to my forms...

Yes, that's how it works. Accounts are not deleted if you delete them from your sub-users. They only lose access to your forms. Is that a problem for your use case?

I am only trying to help you guys in finding a solution with the bug affecting sub accounts authorizations in my main account control panel.
As mentionned, this is a major issue for us since we have sensible data which is currently exposed to sub users who should not have access to those forms.
- RDTSAnswered on January 10, 2014 at 12:23 PMAre you still working on fixing the issue? We have received no news from your Level 2 Support/Developpers team since yesterday.Thanks.

I have tried a few things, but unfortunately, I was not able to fix the issue with your MERCH Sub Account. The ticket is open, so we will need to wait for updates from our Development Team.
In the meantime, you can try to use some other account. For example, create a MERCH2 account and use it as Sub Account #1. Once the issue is fixed you can switch back to the MERCH account.
We will update this thread as soon as we have any news.
- MERCHAnswered on January 10, 2014 at 03:09 PM
We did create a temporary account (Sub Account #3) to replace Sub Account #2, since that user needed to have access to the blue folder's forms soubmission today and it was important that he could not have access to the green one.
Let me know if you would like to test deleting permanently sub accounts 1 and 2 from your end. I would then send them new invites to re-create the accounts... I suppose it might solve the bug, at least if I don't change their accesses after being added since this seems to be creating the bug.
PS For some reason I am currently logged in my main account (RDTS), but appear as Sub Account #1 (MERCH)...
