I'm trying to use hidden fields to set the status of a form in a workflow process. Â Based on the value in the field, sections of the form are visible or not. Â With a freeform text field, the possibility of misspelling means that someone may think they've entered the right value, but never see the hidden sections. Â How can this be handled?

I am not really able to fully understand your idea here.
BUT I can tell you right away, that you cannot convert the Hidden Box into Radio Option button...Â
BUT again, you CAN make it behave like the Radio Option in the sense that you can put default value in the Hidden Box field like a pre-selected value in Radio option.
The form user will actually not be able to fill-in the Hidden box because it cannot be seen on the form... so I wonder what you meant by misspelling the value.
Hope this help. Inform us if you need further assistance.
