Approval flow: Trigger approval flow from Edit Submission

Hi,

I have created an approval workflow with an option of "More Information Needed" that triggers an email to the originator with an Edit Link. From there how do I build the workflow so that the edited submission triggers the approval workflow again?

I have tried enabling the request more information toggle in Advanced but this seems to make no difference to the email the approver receives to allow them to request more information.

I have also noticed that if you click more options when the inbox opens it has automatically approved the form (with the countdown undo box top right) when it shouldn't have been approved. That is why I have created a new button for 'request more information' to try and stop that situation happening.

Since we cannot loop back from More Info Email to Approval, you might consider adding new Approval after More Info Email instead.

Thanks for clarifying Cecile. I have a complex multi approval workflow and this will solve the issue but it will make the workflow significantly larger. It would be much tidier if we could loop back and an edited submission started the approval workflow again.

We implemented triggering(restarting) the flow option upon re-submitting(edit submission). By simply enabling this option in 'Settings' - 'Restart Approval Flow on Submission Edit', upon re-submissions approval flow will trigger(restart)
