I am having the same issue as Jess_Lane below.

If I add the {edit_link} tag in the autoresponder, the user clicks on the link and they are prompted for a login/password, but the users filling out the forms do not have a Jotform account and we do not want them to have one. We just want them to be able to edit the submissions they made or continue it later.

    How can we accomplish this?

Hi RLUNA, thank you for reaching us.

It appears the form within this ticket has been deleted: https://www.jotform.com/211645478839469. Could you kindly share with us the form URL where this issue persists? We will investigate it further.

    We await your updated response.

I am also interested in knowing whether a user without login & password can edit a submission.

Can you update me on this?

I found out that if you have HIPAA enabled forms/account your users cannot edit their forms with the Edit Link without an account.

    Hello there,

Thank you for the follow-up! The last statement you made here is correct. In our HIPAA Compliant Environment, only the owner of the form is authorized to edit submissions after they are left, and the actual form fillers will not have the necessary level of access to update their submission data at a later date.

Please reach back out with any additional questions, and have a great day!

I am having the same issue as RLUNA. The link to edit the form submission works for me when I'm logged in. But when the applicant clicks the link, they are asked to log in to JotForm. Our account is not HIPAA Compliant.
