Hi Jotform Team,
I wonder how the new approval workflow process may or may not work with forms collecting payments?
Eg, if a form has a payment integration (say Stripe), is it possible to only collect payments for submissions that have been reviewed and approved?
How would you go about setting this up?
Thanks
Regards
Olivier

Hello!
Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to do that in a straightforward way.
The only way to achieve the functionality you've specified is to make a separate form to collect the payment after the first form has been approved.
It could work in the following way:
- User fills form A
- The form gets approved or denied
- If it gets approved, the user will be sent a link to form B with a prefill parameter that will populate the price to be paid. The parameter will populate a total price field, which will then be used as the total price for the Payment Integration. They can then complete the payment
A sample workflow would look like this:
Unfortunately, there's no way to do this in a single form, as the payment fields can't be hidden.
Hopefully, this will point you in the right direction.
Thank you!
- User fills form A
