    Hello,

    In the effort to converge my web site visitors into contacts, I would like to set up a form/system were a user has to provide his email address in order to be able to download a PDF document that I will create. Either a button for download appears, either the submission of the form triggers and automatic download on the user side or the file is sent to the user by email.

    Is it possible to do that ?

    Thank you,

    Alexandre

    Hello

    Yes, you can go to "Quick tools" and choose an "E-mail" field. Choose "properties" of the "e-mail" field and change "required" to "yes".

    Then you can use PDF Embedder widget to have the document appear right on the form, where the user would be able to download the file by right-clicking it.

    Then you go to "setup and embed" and create a condition:

    Hi Alexandre,

    You can create an auto responder: Setting Up Form Autoresponder then from the autoresponder email body, add the download link of the PDF file. If your form user won't provide a valid email address, they won't be able to receive the auto responder with the PDF link on it.

    Let us know if you need further help on this matter.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    I did what Carina sugested and my Jotform page freezes in my browser after I click "finish" on the PDF Embedder.

    I then tried setting an Auto Responder which works but the how to I put a box where the user can put in his email adress for the form to automatically an email to his adress ? Form http://form.jotform.ca/form/40145443562247

    @Alexandre

    The autoresponder alternative solution will work as you need. Now, I can see in your form that you already added an E-mail field to it, so now what you need to do is to correctly setup the autoresponder of your form so that it can send the email with the PDF file to your users email address. Here is how to create/setup an autoresponder Creating a form autoresponder

    Now, in the email settings of your autoresponder just make sure to choose the E-mail option for the Recipient E-mail, the form will send the email to that email address:
