post data to Microsoft Access databaseAsked by memaxt on January 13, 2014 at 12:46 PM
Ive seen your guide on how to post data to mysql, which was a tad confusing.
Would it be possible you guide me on how to post data to an Microsoft access database? So date is automatically sent direct to my database rather than having to download it to excel and manually importing them?
Passing form data to ms access database seems uncommon so not quite familiar about it. I believed this would work best with asp.net since they're Microsoft products but unfortunately, I don't know any about asp, and I'm not sure if our form supports it. However, I think this is doable with PHP codes. You can enable HTTP post data on your form or you can add Webhook, but you have to write custom PHP script to connect with your ms access database to pass the form data. Here's a good article that you can start with: http://www.sitepoint.com/using-an-access-database-with-php/
Hope this helps.
