Im having trouble setting up with the functionality I want.
I want the user to
1. Select a file
2. Press submit (to submit form and details)
3. Then see progress of upload.
With the standard setup as I see it...the user selects a file and sees progress and will have to submit when it is uploaded. Not a good idea for large files.
An alternate option that would also be good if possible
Just have the upload button, and user selects file that uploads with progress...and at the end it auto redirects to thank you page.
Let me know if this is possible.
Bump ** Can someone please answer this?

One possible solution is to disable the "Allow Multiple" option for the upload field. It will then turn into the default single file upload button which will not show a progress bar on the form. The user will submit the form and the upload will be processed. There will be no progress bar, but at least the user does not need to wait to submit the form.

Is there any way of seeing the progress bar as well as automatic submission when finished. I see this as a major drop-off point for most users. It should not be too hard to trigger the submit button once upload is complete.

How about using muti-upload tool? That displays file upload progress bar.
For the automatic submission, sorry but we do not have such feature currently. However, I'll submit your idea to our development team. We'll see if they can consider this for future implementation.

thanks for your answer.
Yes, I would then suggest incorporating a function that encompasses file
uploads that are bigger than a couple of megabytes.
With the multi-file upload option, the users see a progress bar, but have
to then hit submit after it is finished, which it turns out few users
Currently there is a huge drop off, with the single file upload users
navigate away from the form since there is no upload bar. I have to write

Please bump up the priority of being able to click submit while the files are uploading and for them to automatically finish uploading.
