[HTML Text] Overlapping Text due to Height style on embedded divs

Asked by walkingtreetravel on January 13, 2014 at 03:06 PM

Hello. Recently, I just noticed that on several of our forms, text that was once in a scroll down box is now starting to overlap other text.  I think this may be an internal problem because the form has been working for months, and up until today this problem occured.

The text is long, therefore we want it to be in its own scroll down box so it does not take up much space in the form. It apprears that the text is coming out of the box and overlapping.

We are sorry for the inconveniences caused.

I was able to reproduce the issue with custom height on embedded divs. Now it has been escalated to our Development Team. Unfortunately, I can not provide any ETA, but we will let you know once we have any updates.

In the meantime, you might consider removing the height value:

Alternatively, hide the text under Form Collapse element:

Also, we have recently added a Terms & Conditions Widget.

    Thank you.

Hi, of course its about the html if the content height is higher than the container, it overlap the text or sometimes in other tags height won't work. What you have to do is to add another style.

Use overflow:scroll; for the container to scroll on the designated height.
