Here you will get a response from our Developers if it's possible to hide "Please Select" from all browsers if possible.
Regarding the requiring the dropdown:
You can manually show the text error and hide the "Submit button" if "bitte auswählen" Selected.
First, you will need to create a Paragraph field with the text message:
Then, you will need to set SHOW/HIDE Condition:

Thank you, that looks promising.
Until there is a solution to hide the options, I will however remove "Bitte auswählen" and just use the english Version for now. When the problem is fixed I will implement the workaround. -

Is there
any info on when the "Please select field" will be adjustable to different languages? It is important to us as it doesn't look very professional to our customers to have mixed in english data fields. Honestly the workaround, which doesn't work on Safari, isn't an option even if it worked on Safari browser as I don't want to create optical inconsistencies in the design of the form. Please, I strongly request this feature, it shouldn't be too much work and the benefit is definitely there for everyone coming from a non-english speaking country.
