The Signature box in JotForm is a nice feature, but it would seem an "electronic signature" along the lines of what Adobe offers in Acrobat would be a very welcome addition. It basically puts a time/date stamp, the email address of the user, and the IP address into a signature block. For those that don't need a signature that would hold up in court, this would be very useful.

Thank you for your input. I will go ahead and raise your feature request to the development team. Now I cannot promise the feature will be implemented. Nor can I provide an ETA when such implementation could take place. Nevertheless, this information should be reviewed by said team.
Once we have any updates on this request, you will be notified through this thread. Thank you.

We are happy to announce the Adobe eSign widget - which uses Adobe Document Cloud e-Sign Services (formerly echosign).
Its signatures are legally enforceable.
Please see and test the widget here: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/adobe_esign
