Notification Email: Why am I not getting notifications for the submissions?

    Someone submitted a form and I did not receive notification. I need to see the form once submitted. Can someone please tell me why I didn’t get an email sent? I tested the email and received the test email. Thanks.

    Hi there,

    I checked your notification email settings but couldn't find any issues with it. In Jotform tables, there are 5 pending payments. Submission entries go to pending/incomplete payments when the payment isn't completed due to some reason. You can check these submissions and approve/decline these manually.

    Once you approve these submissions, you will get the notification emails also.

    Thanks for responding.
    However I don’t see the three buttons to even click on to see the drop down box for pending payments. I am using my phone though, if that matters. I will try my desktop computer once I get to work to see if I can see it then to look into. I have one payment that went to PayPal, but now is pending.

    Please let us know when you check from the computer. Jotform Tables is only available in the desktop version.

    Okay so I see the pending ones now, how do I know if they have paid? I received a payment but it wasn’t in either of the names of the listed team members on the registration. Can a person submit a registration without payment? Is that possible? Or is PayPal making it pending until I go back in to your website to approve registration?

    If I selected approve…did they already pay to get to this point? Do I have to approve each registration form that is processed?

    Hello @stpetersscramble,

    Please note that if you want to check payments, you will need to do so from within your PayPal account. We do not keep records of the payment until it is processed in PayPal and then passed to JotForm.

    Also, with the PayPal standard integration, it is possible to skip the payment. After the submission, if the page is exited and the payment is never processed, the submission will be sent to your "Pending Payments" folder.

    Once the submission is in this folder, you will need to manually check for the payments and if it is already processed, you can go ahead and complete the submission. However, completing the submission on your Jotform end will not process the payment on PayPal's end.
