Linking to a hosted payment page

    Hello,

We currently use the Cardpointe widget, but it doesn't allow us to place any labels on the incoming purchases, making accounting a headache for our finances team. Is it possible to have someone fill out a jotform to register for something then require them to complete payment on a hosted payment page rather than using the widget in the form?

    Thanks!

    Thank you for reaching support,

Can you share with us the Direct Form link to the form so we can check?

    Here is how: https://www.jotform.com/help/401-where-to-find-my-form-url.

If you wish to initiate the payment outside of JotForm but take in the order details, you are able to do so using the Purchase order widget: https://www.jotform.com/help/460-how-to-create-payment-form-with-purchase-order.

    Best.

    Hi Kenneth,

Thanks so much! Yes, here is the link to one of the forms it would be used for: https://form.jotform.com/210285625322146.

It looks like the purchase order option would have to be dealt with separately. We would like them to be able to pay automatically - so if there is some way we could link to an outside link and them have to complete payment before leaving the form.

    Hi,

You can add hyperlinks to a text field, such as the Paragraph field on the form.
However, this would still be only a normal link, and it's not possible to check whether the user clicked the link or completed the payment in the outside link. If you need to require payment before completing the form, unfortunately, we do not have settings for this unless you use one of the payment processors.

It's also possible to redirect the user to an outside link instead of the thank you page. This will be done after the form has been submitted, so it might not be exactly what you are looking for, but it could possibly work as a workaround.
