On my original PDF i have a empty space for notes, but alot of the notes are words that are used repeatedly. Can i create a section on my form with multiple words to choose from and based on the words selected only those will appear on the original PDF? This will reduce typing the same answers.

    Thank You

You may use a dropdown field on the form with the words as options to choose from.

The chosen response will then be shown on the PDF.

    Would that work?

If not, please provide us more information.

Using the dropdown field works but what if they need to add another dropdown for a second or third answer? Can i give them the option to add an additional dropdown box as needed?

Do you want to show a second or third dropdown based on the response from the first dropdown?

If yes you can use conditions to achieve that: https://www.jotform.com/help/316-how-to-show-or-hide-fields-base-on-users-answer

I tried using the dropdown box and in the options enabled use multiple selections. This would work for me but i have 14 options and after you select more than 2 they print outside the blue box i designated on my original pdf. Is there a way to fix that? If not I can try using the conditions. Thanks

I understand that you are referring to this field of the form https://form.jotform.com/211791443236151:

If yes, I can see the issue as when you select more options it moves outside the field area.

Let me escalate this to our back end team to check. Once there is an update we will let you know via this ticket.

While i wait on a response from the back office on my question above. Is there another way to do multiple dropdown boxes that will print the answers on my original PDF?

    Sorry for the delay.

A workaround that you could use in the meantime is a bit crude, but what you can do is add a Long text entry field on the form and use conditions to pass on the selections from the dropdown field into it.

Then map that Long text entry field onto your original PDF instead of the dropdown field.

    Here is an example:

But on the output, the result will not be separated by comma or space.

Would this work in the meantime?
