Lets say I have a table with serial numbers as first column. I would like to create a new event where I create a serial number for a request. At some later point if I want to edit that table and edit elements in the table corresponding to the serial number, how can I read the elements of the table corresponding to the serial number, then update them and save back to the table for the same serial number?
I want to create a form where if I type the serial number, I would like it to go through the table and pick up the data and populate the form.
I know there is an "edit entry" function but that requires you to go to the table and click on the relevant row. I would like to get this functionality without giving a user access to the whole table.
thanks
Anil.

Hi Anil,
Thanks to contact us.If I have correctly understood your request, you wish to allow your users to edit an entry submission without giving them access to JotForm Tables.
If so, you might give them access to the submissions by creating JotForm Reports or you can share the submissions data setting a Notification Email for a specific user.
Please check this for further details: https://www.jotform.com/help/326-how-to-create-form-reports-in-jotform
You might also integrate your form with Google Sheets to collaborate with others.
Please check this: https://www.jotform.com/help/228-how-to-integrate-forms-with-google-sheets
You can also share form submissions by assigning a form to a specific user, but in this case, the user will be able only to view the submission made by them.
Further info is available here: https://www.jotform.com/features/assign-forms/
Hope this would help.
However, if you kindly share with us the URL of the form related, we will be glad to provide further support on this.
Kindly check this link: https://www.jotform.com/help/401-where-to-find-my-form-url
We await your response. -

Thanks
I have created a simple form called Test Form https://hipaa.jotform.com/211796671104052
In it the filler puts in their Name, Email and a certificate expiry date.
Every day I would like the system to determine all the folks whose certificate is expiring in the next 30 days and to send out an email to every such person reminding them to get their certificates renewed and once that is done to update their latest certificate expiry date through the form.
Is there any way to do this from within Jotform?
thx
-Anil.

Hello Anil,
You may add a Date picker that will hold the date as to when the email should be sent.
Then, add the condition below. This would allow us to determine the day 30 days before the certificate gets expired.
Guide: How-to-insert-text-or-calculation-into-a-field-using-conditional-logic
Lastly, go to your autoresponder's Advanced tab and select the Date picker as the value in your Send Emails Later. Do not forget to hit Save.

I hope this helps.
Should you have further inquiries, kindly let us know.
Thank you.
