Hello, good morning ... look I'm using on my form JotForm combined with dropbox ... the problem is presented to me in the form of unique id, which happens when administering the submissions that come through the form and I address a checkear one submissions and for some reason want or need to edit such submissions upon him send neuvamente for the changes are made, a new arhivo is generated that is a new unique id, being that I'm just editing the same record and not registering one new ... eg
when entering information on a form is named idunico1 - course ... and if you edit any type of information in that form and I press send again to imprint new information is generated one arpeta through dropbox named course - idunico2 ... and that instruction was not to create a new submissions ... if you change data.
hopefully they can help me with this problem, which I did not happen before ...
thank you very much ...Page URL:

The case with Dropbox integration is that it will generate new folders everytime the form is submitted so that it will interprete the edited submission as a new one. However, this process takes this way because you are using the unique ID number in the name of the folder that will be created in Dropbox.
So, what you can do to resolve the issue is to set the names of the folders but without using the unique ID:
In that way dropbox will not create a different folder for submissions files as it will recognize that the name is the same of a previous submission and it will just update the data.
I hope this helps. Please inform us if you still need assistance with this or kindly open new threads to post unrelated inquiries.

and is there a way to identify each submission that is entered through the form, example?:
when creating a submission with the following information:
then if another person enters again within a form submission with:
Here we see that coincide, then I will have a problem that I will be only one record and updated each time the data is matching ...
and if I add the folder name to stick with the date and time, when updating a folder'll have the same problem that another is generated.
Do you have any other ideas of how to do it?
I hope your answer thank you very much!

How about using name and email? I think that'd work better. Users may have the same names but 100% sure they have unique emails. Would this help?
