How can I include text inside a matrix?

Asked by robyncotter on January 17, 2014 at 01:04 PM

I need to recreate the attached image as a section in an existing form.

I've tried using html to create this but it does allow a heading that matches the rest of the form (I'm using the "Solid" Theme with champagne colored headings).

I've created another matrix in this same form (and changed the field sizes to reflect the different data on each) but I can't find a way to put characters INSIDE the matrix.

    any ideas?

Could please elaborate a bit more bout your statement "I can't find a way to put characters INSIDE the matrix"?

I can see that you already have some matrix in your form and you have already accomplished what is described in your image, or are the hilighted symbols in the image the ones you wish to include in the matrix?

Please let us know so that we can give you the proper assistance.

    Thanks

No, that attempt does not show up in the results email. I'm not sure why.

    Hello,

You attempted to create a matrix with the HTML/freeText field.

While this will work out perfectly on your form, they will not be submitted to the server as results because they are not programatically linked to the form database.

I'm afraid adding text between the matrix fields is far more daunting than using individual text fields to achieve your purpose.

Please let us know how we can assist to achieve this result.
