What is the difference between "entry limit" and "max length"?

Asked by cga on January 18, 2014 at 05:04 PM

I am trying to set up a text block that limits the entry to 9000 characters.  I can't figure out what is the difference between entry limit and max length in properties.  Also, is the character limit with or without spaces?

    Hello,

The option you're looking for is Entry Limit. To follow the standard, try setting this option using the corresponding toolbar button.

The appearance of Max Length is probably a bug. I will open a report to have this removed.

Let us know if you have other questions.

    Cheers!
