Hello,
I had already tried it. But i am not sure if it is because i used google login (and as such, no password), i did not receive any password reset email.

If we delete your account, your account data (including username and email address) will remain in our database for 30 days before getting purged. So until that time, you will not be able to use the same email address if you create a new account.
If you follow the instructions in the guide shared by my colleague above, it will send a new password reset link to your account email address. If you have not received it please also check your spam folder.
I have flushed the login attempts on your account. Please try resetting the password again and try logging in using the new password.
