How can I find/recover a missing sub-folder containing the files from a JotForm submission.

Hi. One subfolder under the "Credit Application" folder, the designated Google Drive folder for compiling the files submitted according to UniqueID code, is missing. Is there a way to retrieve the contents of that missing sub-folder? Thank you.

a subfolder in the "Credit Application" folder,

If Credit application folder is the parent folder , you can only expect to find the sub folder in this parent folder.

But there is no such a parent folder in your screenshot.

I think you need to find this parent folder first.

Please refer to this tutorial on how to integrate with Google drive:

    Hi. Good day.

We are still experiencing the issue of missing folders for submitted entries. The field settings to include attachment files are required so each submission should have a corresponding folder.

How do we find those missing folders and how do we prevent this from happening for future submissions?

    Thank you!

Click here for the JotForm link.

Click here for the link to the parent folder.

    Hi,

I cannot check your folder as it's locked.

I have sent you the request.

The field settings to include attachment files are required so each submission should have a corresponding folder.

Please confirm my understanding is correct:

    • Your file-upload field has been set to required so that it forces every submission must upload a file.
    • You set your Google drive integration in a way to move the uploaded files to their corresponding folder.

May I ask in what way do you name your folders in your Google driver?

    Look forward to your reply.

    Hi.

We've received your request to access the Google Drive folder and already granted you access.

For the two bullet points you've stated, the first one is correct. For the second bullet point, I only integrated Google Drive for integration and JotForm automatically creates a folder based on submissions.

I had set the format of Google Drive folders to this: <Unique ID Code> <Customer Name> <Timestamp>.

    Thank you!

    Hi Bernadetth,

Thank you for granting me access to your Google Drive.

I believe you are right, I can see the submission did sent through but cannot be found in your Google Drive.

We will discuss about this and perhaps escalate it to our backend team to investigate.

    Our apologies for the inconvenience.

    Hi,

If the issue only happened for this submission, would you please attempt accessing the edit submission link of the missing submission and submitting it again?

This should trigger the integration and push the files to Google drive.

Please let us know if you require any further assistance.
