    directing forms to the correct email recipients

    Hello,

    I run multiple (not-for-profit) web sites, and I am trying to use Jotform on them. At first, I figured that in order to have a form go to a different email address, I had to create a new free account. I did that, 3 more times.

    Then, last month I took you up on your offer for the paid "Pro" membership. I figured this would let me have multiple forms under one login to Jotform, going to multiple recipients.

    I have been over and over your "help" section, and all it says is to change the recipient under "email alerts/notification" - I have played with this for hours, and all it accomplishes is to add additional notifications when the form is submitted, it doesn't change the actual recipient. No matter what I do, I can't create a form that is sent to someone other than who I am logged in to jotform as.

    What am I missing? Thanks.

    Hi,

    Did you make an actual submissions with your form? By the way, here's how to find out what email address used for submissions: http://www.jotform.com/help/41-Finding-out-E-mail-Address-used-for-submission-notifications.

    I am thinking you might have created multiple notifications on your form, please make sure to check each notification email recipient, the existing email recipient might still be there. You can delete existing notifications if you wish to.

    I did not make an actual submission because the form is not done. I am trying to create one. I am in the editor. I use the "test" button.

    Your link is for "submission notifications," which is not what I am looking for.

    Are we confusing "submissions" and "notifications?" I don't care about notifications, and I don't want them. I just want the form submission to go to the correct recipient, and I need it to be something other than the address I am logged in as.

    Hello larrylongwire,

    Please be noted that clicking on the "Test Email" button will always send test email to your account email address and not the "Recipient Email" address you have setup in your email alert.

    You should click on the "Preview" button and do the live submission by clicking the submit button of your form. Sending a live submission will only trigger the notification email to be sent.
