    Hi,

I created a form using the Product List element and it looks just the way I like it divided by different categories. Unfortunately when the form is submitted, all data is under the main parent field and I lose all the categorization:

In order to overcome this, I thought to integrate with AirTable and add a label in front of each product e.i. 8/18D and try to parse the data there once received HOWEVER I cannot map that form filed with the database field because it does not seem to take it.

This is super frustrating. Please help.

Hello! We apologize for this inconvenience. I've answered your concerns below:

    > I created a form using the Product List element and it looks just the way I like it divided by different categories. Unfortunately when the form is submitted, all data is under the main parent field and I lose all the categorization:

I believe that you're referring to the Tables view. That is correct, order data appears in a single column only in the Tables view as well as in the downloaded Excel and CSV files.

However, in the Tables view, if you click the the table cell, it shows an expanded view of the data.

Other thing you can try is our Inbox view; it shows data in a list like format and clearly shows the order information (screenshot attached for your reference).

Product list is a complex field; it doesn't have any matching data type on Airtable; that is why it is unavailable. Airtable integration requires datatypes to match as well.

However, I've escalated a feature request to support this field in Airtable. We'll let you know if it gets implemented under this thread.

You can also try our GSheets integration; the product list data is passed to the integrated GSheet but under a single column.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Im sorry but I dont think you understood my problem. I do see the list of ordered items but I lose the category it was placed under in the form when selected.

The form categories are individual dates that each product is ordered from and that is what is lost...

    Hi gmocaloca,

If you are referring to show Categories within your Tables, then unfortunately it is not possible to show categories within submissions in Tables or Inbox. If this is what you are referring to, please let us know so we can escalate your ticket as a feature request.

If this is not what you are referring to, please clarify further with us and provide us with a screenshot so we can better assist you.

    Hi there,

Could you please clarify, are you referring to losing the categories in the Airtable integration set up or in your submissions Table?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Thanks
