    I found that I had to replace the {example} text in the email editor inside jotforms.

    Find the old {example} text, delelte it, then click on the item you want to add on the right and it should add new {new txt}

    help

    hope that helps :)

    Hi,

    As a matter of fact, it is not a bug. It is most likely that you have edited the notification mail. Once email alert contents are edited/modified in any way, that email is considered as "Custom Email" by our system and are not updated automatically anymore.

    And rightfully so, because there is no way for the system to know where you'd like to insert the {placeholder} for the new fields especially if you have heavily edited the email content.

    If you edit the content of your email alerts, make sure that you update them everytime you rename/add/delete fields. Otherwise, do not touch the content of your email alert after creation to have it automatically updated when making changes in your form..

    Hope this information sounds useful to you. Feel free to post again if you have further questions or concerns.
