I created a form but it opens a web browser instead of staying in the app. which prevents my users from being able to see their submissions. Any possible reason for this?

    Howdy trojan.service519,

I understand that you have created a form and you're trying to use it from the Mobile App, however the Form is causing your browser to open. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Are you attempting to open the form from a link or from the Mobile App? Links (URLs) to a form will always cause the browser to open. In order to have your form show up on another users Mobile App you will need to Assign the Form to the email address associated with the users JotForm account.

No, I have assigned the form to my users. The APP launches the browser version of the form.

    Hello again,

I have created a clone of the following forms:

    • Call In
    • Long Island Tracker
    • GDR Activity

I then assigned these forms to another account and attempted to fill out the forms on the Mobile App. Call In and Long Island Tracker opened through the App. However, I do see that GDR Activity is causing the browser to open instead of staying in the App.

I do see that GDR Activity is not able to be downloaded for offline use and that seems to be preventing it from opening in the App. I have created another form that does not qualify for Offline Mode and I'm seeing the same behavior. Unfortunately, the Mobile App can only be used to fill forms that qualify for Offline Mode.

The Product List that is being used at the end of the form is loaded to the form from another server, which requires these forms to be viewed online, hence the browser.

You may replace your Product List with Number fields or maybe a Dropdown. This will allow your form to be viewed an filled through the App.

Here you can see the form is opened in my App after making this change.
