Good afternoon,
I just have a couple quick questions I am hoping you can help me out with. I have searched the forums and the answers I have found are from a few years ago, so was checking to see maybe there has been an update.
Data Validation on Unique Values
Currently the only way I can work out to check unique values is only on submission. I was wondering if there was a way to check prior to submission. If not is there a way so that when the from is submitted and the message comes up to say its a unique value, that it lets the user go back to the form and change the value, rather than resetting the form and having the user to enter all the other fields again.
Look up Tables
On creation of a form, then going to Jotform tables, and creating an addition tab for another table to be used as a Look up, is there a way to to let the form table reference the lookup table, and if so is there something similar to a vlookup from excel, so you can look up a value in the form table find it in the lookup table and link data that is connected.Thanks for your assistance,

Data Validation on Unique Values
You can implement the Unique Question option from the form settings to achieve this. This way, your users will see an error if they submit a value that already exists. In this case, they can click back from the browser and all their fields will be filled. For this to work, Allow Browser AutoComplete option needs to be enabled:

This setting was already on when we tried it. I will do some more testing and see if maybe there was something we missed.
